Flower Cups are porcelain cups with adhesive, colorful flower appliques attached.
The appliques I used are durable plastic with a glitter-like texture. They’re pretty and can be used for drinking. Also great use as a holder for pens and paper clips. Looks nice on a desk.

After decorating my bathtub with adhesive, colorful flower appliques (they prevent slipping) and loving the look, I decided to purchase some more for DIY projects.
Dollar General, Dollar Tree and Walmart have inexpensive porcelain cups. Â
I used this brand. Tap photo to purchase from Amazon. This is not a paid endorsement. Just sharing helpful info.
Secopad Bathtub Non-Slip Flower Appliques are available on Amazon.
The appliques add a dash of flair to plain cups.
Wash and towel dry porcelain cup(s) before attaching flower applique.
Next, peel paper from back of each applique and place on cup. Rub until smooth (no wrinkles in the flower). Â
These decorated cups must be hand washed instead of placing in a dishwasher for cleaning. Allow to drip dry or towel dry. Â
DIY Potholder Art: Potholder decorated with silk flowers. Suitable for framing. Display in kitchen, family room or craft room.
I got the idea to decorate potholders in 2017. While looking at a batch I purchased from Dollar Tree, they seemed plain.
Lovely fabric flowers add a splash of color and texture. Each potholder is suitable for framing.

On a whim, I decided to jazz up some inexpensive potholders by attaching fabric flowers. Sew on or attach pins. New ideas flowed. A small sample is shown on this page. More to come!Â
This shadow box (8×8) contains a tan colored potholder adorned with an artificial flower secured with a sparkly attachment.
Frame in a shadow box and hang on a wall in a kitchen, home office, family room, hallway or wherever you like.
Consider securing silk flowers with pins because they’re easy to remove. Perfect for when you want to change the design. Â
Large pearl buttons cut from an old blouse are sewn on top. Small faux pearl pierced earrings are on the bottom.
Although a frame is not required for a short term display, please know the potholders will accumulate dust after awhile. Â
Gold beads and a gold Christmas ribbon make these potholders sparkly and beautiful. The beads are secured with a rubber adhesive. The ribbon is secured with straight pins (can also be sewn to the potholder).
Consider framing in a shadow box if you plan to display on a wall for a long time. The potholders will remain crisp and clean.
I purchased fabric flowers, earrings and gold ribbon for $1 each from Dollar Tree. The lovely potholders were 2 for $1. Who else loves a bargain?! Comment below.
