THE INGREDIENTS
Salt, heavy whipping cream, low-moisture mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan Cheese.
This recipe calls for two cups of heavy whipping cream.
A pint is the same as two cups.
Olive oil and unsalted butter not pictured.
Allow me to explain why the mozzarella cheese package is empty. It was a very busy day for me. I shot the photo after using all of the cheese in the recipe. No time to dash to the store. Thanks in advance for understanding. ๐
SERVING SUGGESTION
Creamy Alfredo Mushroom Chicken served with a buttered crescent roll.

Creamy Chicken
Ingredients
Creamy Alfredo
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, mashed optional
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/4 teaspoon salt more or less as preferred
- 1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper Or white pepper. More or less as preferred.
Mushroom Chicken
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup cremini mushrooms, chopped
- 3 cups shredded rotisserie chicken or baked chicken (dark or white meat)
- coarse ground black pepper to taste
- salt to taste
Instructions
Creamy Alfredo
- In medium skillet, add butter and olive oil. Melt over low heat. Stir in mashed garlic (if using). Stir until fresh garlic has softened.
- Pour in heavy whipping cream. Stir until well combined.
- Add grated Parmesan cheese and shredded mozzarella cheese. Stir until melted. Remove from heat. Set aside.
Mushroom Chicken
- In a separate medium skillet, melt butter and olive oil over low heat. Add chopped cremini mushrooms. Stir until soft (3 to 5 minutes).
- Add chopped rotisserie chicken (or baked chicken). Stir until warm (3 to 5 minutes). Remove from heat.
- Pour mushroom chicken mixture into creamy alfredo sauce. Stir until evenly combined.
- Serve hot.
- Store leftovers in a tightly sealed container. Refrigerate for up to 5 days. Cold Alfredo Sauce is thick. To melt, place in microwave for 15-20 seconds. After warming, it will melt and taste good.
