  • 2 pounds ground beef or ground chuck
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt Or use Season All Salt.
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons Worchestershire Sauce

  • vegetable oil cooking spray Or use 1-1/2 teaspoons vegetable oil.

Instructions

  • In medium sized bowl, combine all ingredients. Set aside.
  • Spray a grill pan or large frying pan with vegetable oil cooking spray. Or use a paper towel to grease with vegetable oil. Warm over low heat until hot (but not smoking).
  • While warming pan, prepare hamburgers. Scoop 1/4 cup (or more if preferred) of mixture. Roll into ball and flatten to desired thickness.
  • Placed in hot prepared pan. Cook 2-3 minutes on each side OR until insides are no longer red. Thin burgers cook faster than thick burgers.
  • Drain on paper towels. Serve warm or hot.

Notes

For this recipe, I used Wright's Liquid Smoke.  This smoked seasoning contains water and natural hickory smoke concentrate.  No preservatives.  This is a friendly mention. Not a paid endorsement.
When my gorgeous grill pan arrived awhile back,  I photographed  it in the box.  This excellent cookware provided by  Lodge Manufacturing.
