Creamy Alfredo Sauce
- 2 tablespoons unsalted sweet cream butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 clove fresh garlic, minced or use garlic powder
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated or use store-bought grated Parmesan cheese
- 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese low-moisture
- 1/2 teaspoon salt to taste use less or more as preferred
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper or use ground black pepper
Pre-Cooked Shrimp
- 20 small or medium pre-cooked shrimp Thoroughly rinsed as written on package's instructions.
- salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon paprika, optional or use preferred seasonings
- chopped fresh or dried parsley, optional use for garnish
Creamy Alfredo Sauce
In medium saucepan over low heat, stir together unsweetened butter, olive oil and minced garlic until butter is melted.
Slowly pour in 2 cups of heavy whipping cream. Stir until well combined.
Add grated Parmesan cheese and shredded mozzarella cheese. Stir until cheese is melted (2-3 minutes).
Turn heat off. Season with preferred amounts of salt and white (or black) pepper. Set aside.
Pre-Cooked Shrimp
In a small bowl, season prepared pre-cooked shrimp with preferred seasonings. I use salt and paprika.
Stir prepared shrimp into creamy alfredo sauce.
Sprinkle with chopped parsley (optional).
Serve hot.
