EDITOR’S NOTE (October 27, 2019): I felt inspired to do something this year to glorify Jesus!!!! Just added “Jesus Saves” to the palms of the vinyl hands and wrote “John 3:16 and Jesus Saves” on the clothespin closure. Comments welcomed.
My first Halloween “gift” idea is clear vinyl gloves stuffed with candy. “Jesus Saves” and John 3:16 is written on each one. Last year, I made a delicious Pumpkin Patch Snack Mix which is a snack. Not the same as this gift idea.
These stuffed gloves are perfect for all of us who love happy treats because morbid food is not acceptable.
I do not celebrate the famously dark holiday which glorifies witches, demons, death, etc. I stay in His love and His light. Giving away this Holy Hand Candy isn’t celebrating in my opinion. It’s a wonderful opportunity to inspire!
Write a scripture on the clothespin. I love John 3:16.
Or, write a scripture on a small slip of paper and tape to palm of each hand before giving away.
Stuff a few or several gloves with your favorite candy. Painting a clothespin with bright orange nail polish adds a pretty pop of color.
A bag of clothespins is $1 in most dollar stores. The nail polish is $1 in most beauty supply stores and in most dollar stores.
Inexpensive bags of candy and vinyl gloves are available in grocery stores, Walmart and Dollar Tree.
Perfect gift for co-worker, relatives, friends, and neighbors. This is a unique and positive way to stay in the light on a very dark holiday.
