Corn on the Cob

EDITOR’S NOTE (October 11, 2018):  Simmer time reduced to 3 minutes (was 8 to 10).  Comments about this recipe in Facebook food groups prompted me to try a shorter cooking time.  Corn tastes great!

The best tasting corn is boiled in salted water, a cup of milk, and a stick of unsalted butter.  Much better than boiling in salted water only.

Most corn is already sweet.  If you like more sweetness, add a little granulated sugar to the mixture before boiling corn.
